Top Ten YA Novels From 2016 (Read by Me)

2016 was a chaotic year for me. I moved, I got married, I got a puppy, and I started back at school. It was also a chaotic year for books. I went to a book festival where I collected a seriously large amount of Advanced Readers Copies, I joined two book subscription boxes (Owl Crate and Uppercase box) and I helped start a book club at Maywood Academy High School. Put this all together, and you can say that as a reader and as a person, I had a very crazy year. Luckily I was able to get my hands on some truly beautiful novels.

So here we are, my top 10 books published in 2016. In no particular order. I say that because it would be like ranking my children. I also will not be giving too much information about each one, because many of these books are sequels, and sometimes too much information becomes a spoiler to someone who hasn't yet started the series. I personally am a huge fan of fantasy novels, so this list does tilt pretty heavily in that direction, but I am planning on expanding my horizons this coming year, and if you have any suggestions for me I am excited to hear them!

If you are interested in knowing more about some of my favorite books from last year, click the picture and it will take you to a goodreads description of each book. There you can also find tons of reviews for each book.
